DOUG FAMOUS, CFP®
FINANCIAL PLANNER
Doug Famous is a financial adviser and planner that works within an independent architecture, while deliberately maintaining strategic affiliations with Eagle Strategies, LLC and New York Life. Doug diligently works with successful individuals, families and businesses to develop customized, strategic and diverse solutions to best fit their financial needs. He works with clients in a multitude of states across the country, utilizing electronic meetings for enhanced productivity and client convenience.
In 2009, Doug developed stock and market knowledge while personal investing. He joined New York Life Insurance Company in 2010, and secured FINRA licenses; Series 7, 6, 63, 65 as well as CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Doug’s integrity, client focus, and work ethic have been recognized by his clients, peers and affiliations.
Doug’s professional background began with Merck & Co. Inc. serving a variety of management roles. It was during this career that he developed a passion to serve customer needs with excellence, being honored with several corporate level distinctions and awards.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, Doug attended college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Away from the office, Doug enjoys time with his beloved wife, Sandi and their dog Jack-Jack. They reside in Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA enjoying the benefits of both areas. Doug and Sandi love outdoor activities, badminton, motorcycle riding, and exploring what nature has to offer. They enjoy sharing with others, whether in their church or outside communities, valuing diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
LEAH JOHNSON, CFP®
ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISER
Leah Johnson is an Associate Financial Adviser. She graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a concentration in Finance in 2019 and with a Master of Science in Health and Human Development, with an option in Family Financial Planning in 2021.
Leah joined New York Life as an intern in 2018. Over the following 3 years, she obtained her FINRA licenses; Series 7, 63, and 65.
Leah was born and raised in Montana but fell in love with Arizona after competing at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in 2009. In addition to riding and showing Arabian horses, she enjoys camping, hiking, and taking Toby to the dog park.
BINGJIE ZHU
ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISER
Bingjie Zhu is an Associate Financial Adviser.
She graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters of Science in Quantitative Finance.
Bingjie has the following FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, 65. In addition, she is furthering her skills and knowledge through advanced training and coursework in the financial field.
Prior to joining Famous Financial, Bingjie worked at New York Life in 2023, as an agent and financial services professional.
Bingjie was born in China, and went to college in the USA. She chose to stay in Boston after obtaining her master’s degree. She has a love for music, a curiosity for exploring new places, and enjoys playing squash, which helps her stay energized and focused.
BILL GEASEY
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Bill Geasey oversees business development for the practice. Bill understands and empathizes with the challenges clients face while seeking to optimize a successful retirement. He has a passion to help people gain clarity and harmony of their financial house, so they can enjoy their lives to the fullest.
He has been an entrepreneur and business owner for most of his life. He graduated from the school of business at Northeastern University. In 2003, Bill joined New York Life Insurance Company, and over the years secured FINRA licenses; Series 6 and 63.
Bill grew up near Philadelphia and lives in Newport, RI where he and his wife, Kathleen, raised their two daughters. Bill loves biking and open water swimming. He is an avid cook and loves to spend time with his family and friends. He strives to make an impact on his community and has been an active member of their church.
ADRIANA AIKEN
MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR
Adriana Aiken is the marketing administrator. She works closely with business development cultivating relationships with potential clients. Her previous marketing experience includes working for a business-to-business advertising agency, a healthcare software solution company and an architectural firm. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Adriana is a proud wife of a United States Marine Corps Veteran. She was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island where she resides with her family and rescue dog, Daisy. She enjoys spending time with her family at the beach in Surf City, North Carolina, photography and reading a good book.
